Rules!

Sakura-chan Oekaki Rules

Content:
As you might have noticed, this board is centered around Sakura. This means that all images must include Sakura herself (though symbolism, i.e. a cherry tree or obvious cherry blossom (sakura) petals is acceptable). You are free to draw other characters, as well, but Sakura must be included. Also, please note that all drawing styles are welcomed: If you exclusively draw chibis, feel free to draw chibis. If you draw jellybean bodies, that's fine.

Mediums:
Sakura-chan Oekaki supports Shi-Painter, Shi-Painter Pro, Chibi Paint, and PaintBBS. Most of these programs utilize layers. Canvase sizes range between 50x50 and 600x600. Animations, used for tutorial purposes or just for fun, are also supported.

Uploads:
Because some of our members lack graphics tablets and are restricted to working with a mouse, we would like to make it clear that you are allowed to scan and upload a hand-drawn picture, but you must ink and/or color it using one of the board's oekaki programs before posting it. Please make sure that your uploaded image is between 50x50 and 600x600. If you post something that was clearly just scanned, no editing, it will be deleted. New members are restricted from upload access due to trolling and overall ignorance of the board's uploading rules. To request upload access, send a message to either IvyAdrena or KorinaCaffeine.

Time:
Please spend at least 10 minutes on the picture overall.
If you post something with a timer reading under ten minutes, it will be marked as a WIP (work in progress) and relegated to the Recover Pics section of your Control Panel. There, you can open it back up in one of the boards and add more detail, color, whatever. However, if you obviously just drew something simple and let the timer run up, the image will still be marked as a WIP. (We've noticed that sometimes the board is messing up the timer, so something you spent an hour on might read as having taken two minutes. If it's obvious that you spent time on it, we'll leave it alone.)

Plagiarism:
Do not post pictures from other artists without their permission. To do otherwise is plagiarism, and it will get your account suspended or deleted. (First time's a warning, second suspends your upload access for three to five days. If it happens again, then you will be banned from the site.)

Retouching (Public Images):
Members can mark their images as public, allowing others to retouch the image. Unless explicitly stated in the description (ie "I don't want to finish this, so anyone can color it!"), it is best to ask for the original artist's permission before editing their work.

Adult Content:
Adult themes such as sexual situations, graphic violence, explicit nudity, or offense language/themes should be marked as 18+ (or Adult). If an image you're drawing in any way relates to graphic content, non-consensual sex, or suggestive topics, always Adult the image when posting. Adulting of tasteful nudes isn't always necessary (as in if Sakura is nude but not flaunting it like a porn magazine spread) and is left to your discretion. We do have underage members, so please post responsibly.

Character Bashing:
This is not allowed unless in good humor (just joking for a punchline is fine). No graphic violence towards characters in a way that can obviously be labeled character bashing. Just use common sense and you should be fine.

Multiple Accounts:
Do not register more than one account. If you'd like to delete your current account and create a new one, let one of the mods know and we can get rid of the account for you. In the same vein, it is not suggested that you share accounts with others or share your log-in information with other members.

Spamming:
The following are considered spamming and are not allowed:
